Junior & Age Grade Rugby 2023
Welcome to the 2023 rugby season.
We welcome all new and existing players to join our club for the 2023 season.
Junior & Age Grade Rugby is played in Nelson and Tasman on Saturdays during Term 2 and 3.
Our Club offers teams from U6 to U15.
FEES: Junior & Age Grade Rugby: $65.00 1st child, additional children $50 per child.
Sub includes a Sponsored Training T-shirt and Mouthguard.
Playing Jersey's are provided by the club.
Playing Shorts and Socks can be purchased from the Clubrooms at our JAB Registration days and on game days.
Secondhand Shop - This season we are also introducing a Secondhand Shop at the clubrooms.
If you have any Waimea Rugby Shorts, Socks or boots in good used condition that you'd like to donate, please drop them into the clubrooms or contact Shar.
PAYMENT METHODS:
Online on completion of registration or
Direct credit payment to: Waimea Old Boys Rugby Football Club - 03-1354-0190969-00.
Please put Childs Name against the payment.
We are happy for you to set up a weekly payment plan, just have a chat to Shar Lowe to advise us of your plan.
We also offer SportStart which is a funding initiative available from Sport Tasman for families where financial hardship is a barrier to participation in physical activity. Talk to us about this and we can help you organise the paperwork to apply for this funding or follow the attached link - http://www.sporttasman.org.nz/Funding/Sportstart.
If you don't qualify for SportStart we have other options to support your child to play rugby.

Our Story
_
At Waimea Junior Rugby we have approx 310 children across various ages from 5 years up to 15 years.
We are one of the biggest Junior Rugby Clubs in the Nelson/Tasman region.
With our quality coaching, these youngsters move up the grades and with good training and discipline can go on to represent the Waimea Old Boys Club in the provincial teams
We are a club that believes in helping support the local community also. We have various events throughout the rugby season to promote our Club and its teams, their sponsors, and to put back into the community.
